3 was one of two releases by Tibeta Ubik, a Merzbow and KK Null project. Merzbow is credited for drums and effects, KK Null is credited for guitar and vocals and J. Makino is credited for saxophone. The C60 cassette tape was recorded live at Gatty, Tokyo on January 16, 1984.
